Can you think about a
meal at 1 taka? I don’t think so. Nowadays our living
standard cost is rising rapidly. We can dream about a meal at tk one. But
reality is underprivileged people have a meal by tk one.
Bidyanondo Foundation
is well known as 1takar ahar rather than Bidyanondo. They cock every day for
3,000 people and distribute different places in a certain time. They are
working for Hunger irritation every day. This project is conducted by some expatriates and established
professionals. And it has been implemented by volunteers and officials.
This meal can be
bought by a miserable person for one tk. There are no boxes in the korma-paulo,
full of rice-dal-vegetables.
Before giving food
among the children volunteers taught basic education. But now they also work
for children education. The owner of Bidyanondo is also come from extremely
poor family. So he wanted to work for Underprivileged.
They had 8 branches
in different districts of Bangladesh. From the very beginning they provide only
meal at the nominal price. The interesting thing about this foundation is they
also provide treatment, education and legal support by 1 tk.
So, if we want to
make change our society, working for development we have to work from our position
what we can.
