I am underprivileged but I have a dream. Do you help me? This is a real fact in our
country we know but we escape consistently. However, is that solution? There
are more than 33 million people in Bangladesh who live below the poverty line.
But can you imagine if they have no education, no basic needs, so how we will
develop our country without them. We need to go with them to spread the light
among them.
Last month I
saw in a newspaper where some organization doing progressive work for underprivileged
people. So, I have interest to work with them and I wanted to be a part of
changing our Bangladesh.
The name of
Obhizatrik is a foundation where they are working for betterment of our
country. This foundation is volunteer base, youth providing their self for
betterment. Obhizatrik School provides free education from class 1-5.
The exciting
thing is that last year in Ramadan they provide food items among 2000 family 15
days and took a project where their aim was to make underprivilege people self-reliant.
And this is done by collecting funds from people, during the collecting day
2000 volunteers were working and most of them are youth.
I am also
doing work with them. And it was a great experience working with unknown faces.
During the work, I keep in mind that reminds from this collection some family
will have their 15 days’ food and this is the spirit behind my working. Still
they are working for flood affected people.
